A little bit about me, in three paragraphs.

Once upon a time in Bushwick…

My background pulls from many spaces: creative writing, education, design, and hospitality. I’ve found that these areas contain more overlap than not; they also provide the balance that a Libra sun/Libra rising like me requires.

I began in digital media in 2010, when I lived in New York and wrote online about everything from cat hair necklaces, to sunsets with Patti Smith, to really fancy vibrators. From 2012-2014, I hosted and curated a reading series in Brooklyn, NY which featured mostly-emerging writers representing a wide mix of genres and interests (many of which have since emerged). I’ve been lucky to receive residency opportunities at the Noepe Center for Literary Arts on Martha’s Vineyard (2015), and the Suttle Lodge & Boathouse Artist in Residence Program (2018).

Other current projects: I collaborate on the literary-and-natural-medicine newsletter Herb/Plot, and I occasionally send out Prescription Print, a direct-mail box of printed essays intended for temporary relief and future wellness.
