I’m a writer from northern Minnesota, living in Portland, Oregon. Much of my writing is focused on class, popular obsessions, landscape, and literary anti/heroines (though rarely all at once). I’ve written essays, reviews, and criticism online for websites including Electric Literature, The Billfold, The Hairpin, and Sundog Literature, and in print for Marie Claire and others.
I’ve also contributed web content, sales copy and branding for interesting companies.
Currently, I am a fiction MFA candidate at Portland State University, where I am co-editor-in-chief of Portland Review and the recipient of a 2019-2020 Laurels Graduate Award.
In my free time, I enjoy organizing and hosting events around books, eating, and (a)liveness.
